Between the Lozère and the Cévennes, discover one of the “wildest” regions of France with 45% woodland and beautiful, unspoilt landscapes. Go on a day trip to explore the stunning villages of Hauterives and Malène, the castles of Peyrelade and Sévérade, or enjoy a fascinating day out at the Maison des Vautours (vulture park). Adults and children will also all enjoy the many different walking trails in the area as well as the botanical trails of Montmejean.

Whether by foot, on horseback, by bike, with a donkey, or trail running, discover the raw beauty of the surrounding landscapes. With 300 circular walks for day hikes, around 30 nature trails and mountain bike trails, as well as the many major and minor roads that cross the park, which are ideal for road biking, there are endless ways to explore the surrounding countryside.
The Park also offers a dense network of long-distance hiking trails (GR and GRP) and multi-day walks, including four major tourist routes: the Stevenson Trail, the Urbain V trail, the Régordane footpath, and St Guilhem’s way.
